Tilonia is a village in Ajmer District in Rajasthan, India. These prosperity hens are charmingly made of colorful floral fabric filled with stuffed cotton. It has multicolored beads and big bell at the bottom. It is entirely handmade by expert craftsmen. These chicks would make a great gift or look wonderful hanging in your home or on your door handle

Natural Habitat Co

Shalia developed a passion for Indian textiles when, as a child, she travelled with her mother throughout her home country to observe these great craftsmen at work.

This rich history and the enthusiasm of the craftsmen producing these textiles inspired Shalia and her husband Mike to start Natural Habitat. They focus on supporting cottage industries, using natural fibers and being ecologically responsible.

We are huge fans of their beautiful quilts, pillows and accessories, their emphasis on handmade items, and Shalia and Mike themselves (and the fact that their warehouse is a mere 30 minutes from our house!)
