About the maker

Cards by De

Sadé (they/them) left and Azizi (any pronouns with love) right co-founded Cards by Dé in December 2017. They started Cards by Dé to create art that spoke to the Black queer experience. Often they found that stationery felt shallow and did not represent their values and views of the world, so they set out to change that.

Cards by Dé is a space of profound intention and purpose. A space where we not just value but express Black queer joy. As a cooperative, we hope to grow to share this experience with other worker owners and continue to spread love through art.
