RedMaple is a Maine seacoast based design company continually inspired by the natural beauty & outdoor lifestyle enjoyed in the New England region. They're a small, independent company with innovative specialty products not found in department stores.
RedMaple’s founder has been producing alpaca fiber wearables and home textiles in Peru since 1997. Eco-friendly production, natural colors, and luxurious comfort make soft, warm alpaca fiber an unbeatable resource to treasure and share.
The company works with a variety of suppliers to produce their custom designs, including small specialty workshops and women’s artisan co-ops that help to keep the craft of handmade textiles a marketable skill. RedMaple also gives back to the global alpaca community by supporting The Quechua Project which provides medical supplies and education to underserved rural communities in the Peruvian highlands who’ve raised these amazing animals for many generations.
Designer David and his partner are former alpaca breeders who live on an alpaca & sheep compound on the southern coast of Maine. With a focus on natural fibers and inspired by Maine’s outdoor lifestyle, RedMaple reflects a love of the natural beauty enjoyed in their region.
