Lightweight and durable, these grip-friendly shears & pruners feature high carbon steel blades. Pruners feature a bypass blade allowing the user to cut branches and limbs up to 1/2” in diameter. They are packaged in a plastic free holster which can be reused for safe storage.

We wanted to create gardening tools that are hard-working and good-looking. Our Shears and Pruners are lightweight and durable, perfect for indoor and outdoor gardening.

THE START
NICK AND SARAH got their start by being really into eating (who’s not?). The fresh, homegrown herbs that they desired were not supported by their yard-less home and busy lifestyle. Determined to find a solution, they turned to their windowsills and put pen to paper. By making their own hydroponic system that hadn’t yet existed in a seamless, beautiful and accessible way, they grew foolproof plants and even maintained their self-esteem (after a few tries).

ROOTED IN CHICAGO- per Nick and Sarah
"What you touch, we’ve touched. We source as much as we can domestically and prioritize manufacturing, assembling and shipping from our hometown. This is important because it supports the community far beyond our walls. In addition to economic stability for our employees and their families, we spend heavily with local companies – from printers to packaging suppliers to the food trucks that show up at our dock to feed our team. When finished goods are imported from overseas, we lose the beneficial ripple effect."
